Early printing, presumably before 1930 with New York, Cincinnati, and Chicago listed to publisher's statement on title page. August 27th, 1907, John M. Farley, Archbishop of New York imprimatur. Black cloth with gilt titles at spine; all edges stained red. Boards show minor fading especially around heel and crown of spine, with light foxing and discoloration to text edges. Binding is firm and square with the lightest bit of starting to front hinge at frontispiece opposite title page. Text is clean with the exception of an ink inscription to half title page. An exceptional copy of one of the most scarce Lasance titles. Near Fine.
