Ownership gift inscription to front endpapers, rubbing to leather, crease to leather at rear hinge, front hinge marginally exposed. Pages age toned, binding firm though fragile. A rather scarce late 19th century pocket prayer book by the Vatican liturgical printing house Frederick Pustet, published in the United States. Features prayers at mass composed by St. Leonard of Port Maurice, and contains the ordinary of the Mass, Epistles and Gospels, Stations of the Cross, Vespers for Sundays, and various prayers and devotions. Undated, table of moveable feasts begins in the year 1862 through to 1890. A handsome example. Very Good.
